On 2nd September, the pupils and staff took a trip on the Viking Boat all the way to Clonmacnoise, an ancient monastic site near Shannonbridge, Co. Offaly. We were given a tour of the grounds and we even got to tell our secrets into the ‘Whispering Arch’!!! The Senior Room are learning about the Vikings at the moment and this field trip certainly brought their study alive.
