Three in a row!!! #cumannnambunscol

Drumraney N.S. have completed an historic treble in the Cumann na mBunscol competition. On the 20th of May 2026, the team and a host of enthusiastic supporters traveled up to Cusack Park to contest the final against a strong Moyvore side. After a slow start, some excellent scores saw Drumraney take the lead into half time. A nerve-wracking second-half saw the teams trade scores. Up and down the pitch, the team put it all on the line and the scores were level on the final whistle. However extra time is when Drumraney turned it on and took a three point lead into the dying minutes. The players were composed and passed the ball around maintaining vital possession before the referee blew the final whistle. Congratulations to all the players on and off the pitch who made this a truly memorable year. Thank you to the families and supporters who gave their time bringing the pupils all around Westmeath and braving the elements on the sideline. Finally, congratulations to Mrs. Gavigan and Noel Galvin who have coached and trained the players all year. A lot of work goes on behind the scenes and their efforts are greatly appreciated.
