Our pupils have hit the ground running this year as they dive into another exciting season of VEX Robotics! As part of this engaging STEM initiative, pupils are working hard to design, build, and code a brand-new robot to compete in the upcoming Westmeath VEX Robotics Competition.
Team members are busy coding the robot’s movements, learning to drive it with precision, and teaching it to complete a range of complex tasks. Along the way, they’re also documenting their progress in an Engineer’s Notebook, recording every idea, design, and improvement made along the journey.
It’s wonderful to see such enthusiasm, teamwork, and creativity in action — skills that are at the heart of science, technology, engineering, and maths. We can’t wait to see what our young engineers achieve this year! 🚀
