Our junior classes had great fun exploring science through two exciting experiments this week! First, we tried the classic Coke and Mentos investigation, watching in amazement as a fizzy eruption shot up when the Mentos were dropped into the bottle. We also carried out the Skittles experiment, arranging the sweets in a circle and observing how their colours slowly spread to create a beautiful rainbow pattern. The children loved making predictions, watching the reactions happen, and talking about what they noticed. It was a fantastic hands-on way to learn about chemical reactions and how colours dissolve in water.
